Hello, Adventurers!
It's been over a month since Loot launched, and about a month since our last update. We're working with some great writers to bring you long-form essays about big Loot ideas. In the meantime, here's a collection of Loot things from the first month.
Governance
✅ Done
Voted to burn the keys to the Loot contract
Burning the keys to the Loot contract removes the ability for any figure or organization (like a DAO or multi-sig) to ever act as its owner.
More details here: LIP-0: Burn the keys to the Loot contract
Voted to formalize the LIP process
A set of guidelines and standards for the lifecycle of community proposals and Snapshot votes. The framework provides a foundation which enables the Loot community to build consensus and cements the legitimacy of our decision making powers.
More details here: LIP-1: Loot Improvement Proposals - Establish Framework and Guidelines
🗳 Next
Decide what to do with 200 owner Loot bags
More details here: Owner Bags
New proposal here: Transfer 200 owner bags into a community directed treasury
